Barnes Family Digest

Here is a picture of Mike with the boys - since he hadn't put one of himself anywhere before. Maybe he was being shy!

This was taken on a day out at an open farm near us. Jake loves going to see the animals and particularly enjoys playing on this tractor and on the little ride-on ones in one of the barns. We saw baby lambs, kids and piglets on this visit and I even held a tiny chick for Nathan to stroke.

As this is the first post in a blog intended to keep family and friends up-to-date with our growing (in size, no longer in numbers) family a quick recap for those of you who are a bit behind.

We are 5 (in order of importance):

Jake, 3 years old now and knows it
Nathan, just over a year old and into everything
Alexandra, age of no importance and wonderful Mum
Mike, still young enough and pays the bills
Jarvis, middle-aged Cocker Spaniel who knows his place and keeps out of the way

Keep coming back, we'll make sure we put all the important news (the less mundane parts of our lives) up here when we have a spare moment. No, really.
